Attention:
this file has to be decoded, before to be used, with algorithm Siemens F200
only if you use the eprom programmer.
If you
use the Kess to read the eprom, you have to:
1. read
the complete file and save it on the hard disk. In this way you will obtain an
empty file that contains only the data list. Now the file is ready to be used
with ECM2001.
Instead,
if you use the eprom programmer to read the eprom, you have to:
1. read
the original file and save it on the hard disk
2. by
utility menu of ECM2001 select SIEMENS --> 2001 --> Decode > BIN
3. the
decoded file will be saved with extension .BIN in the same directory of the
original file.
Note: If
you use the emulator the type of eprom to be used is: 5WP420001.
If to
rewrite the eprom you use the Kess you have to:
1. don't
codify the file, it is ready for writing
Instead,
if you use the eprom programmer, at the end of the work it is necessary to
recodify the modified file after saving it with ECM2001 as follows:
1. by
utility menu of ECM2001 select SIEMENS --> 2001 --> Coding > SIE
2. The
codified file will be saved with extension .SIE in the same directory of the
modified file.
DURING
THE PROGRAMMING OF THE EPROM YOU MUSTN'T PROTECT THE SECTORS
